The current label lists thyme leaf inside the 550 mg proprietary blend. No separate thyme amount is stated.
What herbal monographs mean
The European Medicines Agency has published an herbal monograph for thyme herb. Such monographs can describe traditional-use contexts and available evidence for specific preparations. They do not establish that every product containing thyme has the same effect.
Why formulation and dose matter
A thyme tea, extract, essential oil and multi-ingredient liquid formula differ in composition. When a Breathe label does not disclose the individual thyme dose, it is especially important not to compare the product directly with a study that used a known amount of a different thyme preparation.
Safety context
Plant-based does not mean risk-free. Allergy, gastrointestinal effects and interactions are possible with herbal products. Follow the current label, and discuss use with a qualified healthcare professional if you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition.
